Hi there it's been way to long since i blogged but hey I'm not going to make excuses I simply haven't made time for it .

I'm thinking i am going to start blogging more often and changing it from mostly my stamping life to mostly my crafting life and a wee bit of my family as well.

So an update

Sheldon is 7 months old and trying hard to learn to crawl he has amuse himself for 30minutes today with a bucket .He has 6 teeth with more coming and he does not know the meaning of sleep.

Eloise has grown like a jack rabbit and no longer looks like a little girl more like a big girl.

she is having a interesting phase as she is discovering herself ( heres hoping it stops soon) she has the biggest heart of gold and is very generous .She is a wonderful big sister to sheldon she loves him to pieces ( read like a toddler with a kitten) she is super excited to be going to the beach with the cousins next week.

Codi my big girl is turning into a women ( i wish she wouldn't) She really is starting to become a lovely young lady . She is a great cook and the best sheldy minder ever . her sense of humor is developing which appears to have come from the finer side of the family. she has a awesome sense of style and always try's to look her best even when we just poppin out to get milk and shes staying in the car with the youngins she still requires hair brushed lip gloss and a new outfit.she is about to start her second year at high school .In 4 years she can vote how scary is that!!!

Malcy my bfg is in demolition mode he has ripped out our kitchen new one comes on the 7 th of feb in a big box labels piece a b c etc sooooo not looking forward to that day sounds like hard work to me! he is busy at work and busy at home so like Eloise he is champing at the bit to get to the beach .I hope he provides us with some fish cos as my bbf Maria would say ""i have my guts ready for it" .

And me well i am just trying to exist with little sleep trying not to blink cos my baby does things and i might miss them .I have been bitten with the quilting bug hmm not so sure that's a good thing ,I have plenty of UFOs that need finishing before i start something new but i have my name down for a term of classes anyways.

I am really enjoying my Christmas present ( sewing machine) i just wish Sheldon would sleep like my girls did for at least one hour at a time so i could have a decent amount of sewing time.

When i find my camera cord i will add some photos !

Missing in Action

This is why i have been missing for so long .I am 37 weeks pregnant .I have been very sick ,i spent a long time in hospital andd the rest of the time on the couch .So that ment all stampin went out the window. But very shortly I will be having this baby and getting back into it.just in time to as Stampin up have made a huge colour renovation and are deleting 30 of there core colours and bring in some new ones plus some of our favourite in colours from the past couple of years .Its very exciting and i really belive this is a positive change .I will be stocking up on a couple of my favs that are leaving and any that go with patterened paper that i have horded to have ready for when i get round to scappin them .As always I encourage you to purchase any of the reinkers that match the stamp pads you have of retiring colours as they always sell out fast!

if you email me i will sent you a pdf of the retiring colours and one of the new ones .

Well i have sat up for long enough now i have to go back to bed .Give me a yell if you need to order anything as i am putting in one for myself in the next couple of weeks . take care and when i see you next hopefully i will be in two pieces!!!

This is one of three cards we are doing tomorrow night it is a hidden message card .It's very clever and surprisingly simply! This is a undecorated base of the second card we will do it's a swing card which again I was amazed at how easy it was to make.

Sterling and Shelli two of the most lovely people I have had the fortune to meet.
I have met Shelli several times now and she is always delightful but this was the first time I met Sterling . He is a old fashion gentleman .
Wonderful man how blessed am I !
I got to sit with sterling on the ferry for about 20mins he was telling me all about his Daughters ( proud daddy). I have other photos of the three of us but I am wearing a chefs hat and apron .
This was all on incentive Trip with Stampin' Up! I had the most Amazing time and met some wonderful people .
I want to go back to Aussie to see all my new friends soon. In the meantime facebook will have to do!!

Look how proud she is!

Eloise started school on Monday .

She LOVES it .

She cannot wait to get there every morning and reads her little I am books to anyone who stops still for five minutes ( she even read her book to Grandmum (my mum) and Poppy ( mal's dad) over the phone.

Big sister Codi has been great making the lunches and Cooking our tea (she is so NOT a tidy cook) .

I am starting to feel redundent .... oh well more time to teach scrapbooking and cardmaking.

Here's One of the four layouts for this Fridays scrapbooking class .The layout was cased of my good friend Helen ( Thanks love) the photos are from my wedding my cousin gave me these photos and naturally he took photos of our family I'll have to look through my photos to find some of Mal's family. My dress matches the colours well!
Right now for my lame reasons for lack of blogging are Internet has been really slack it would only let me be connected for short stints of time I would log into blogger and by the time I composed my post it had crashed . Mal has downloaded a new Internet programme so fingers crossed !!!

Stationary Box Class

My lovely Downline Nadine gave me a standard plain notebook to write in when I loan things to my downline so I don't spend hours looking for something thats not even at my house!!!
She gave it to me at scrapbook class last week So whislt the ladies were busy scrapin I made my notebook pretty and even covered a pencil to match .It matchs my pencil case I got at convention . I used raspberry tart dsp isn't it pretty!

This is one of the layouts for Friday .Its just missing the journaling panels That i intend to print from the computer ( now that i bought ink).Also the hearts are hiding my brother in law as his profession is public and doesn't need his sil broadcasting pics everywhere. This one has big chipboard letters ( their initals) that I forgot to stick on before i took the photo .i coloured them with reinkers and a paintbrush trust me they look fab!! Also I am waiting on my order for smaller letters for their surname which will go across the bottom.

This is half of one of the layouts we did last week I think nearly everyone did this one (or variation of ) Its a great way to use up little scraps of dsp . Unfortunately I had to cut whole sheets for this one cos I just liked it! Its called Bella Bleu. Its on special this month buy three packs of dsp and get the fourth free ( not including the patterns dsp). I am going to buy lots especially raspberry tart and Bella rose and afternoon tea and urban garden need I go on cos i can you know there's heaps to choose from...........

HI to my downline and customers

I promised Judy I would blog about my time at convention. Right Now I am in Jindabyne at Cris and Craig's and as Eloise would say coldy coldy . Today we went to Craig's work up the mountain ,It is beautiful .I got some beautiful photos of mal all covered in snow.
Yesterday was spent shopping.
Ok so here's what you really want to know!!!
I earned 5 stamp sets in awards . I got awards for sales , recruiting and leadership. I received a Tiffany bracelet for 3rd place recruiting in New Zealand.
I was awarded 4Th place Demonstrator of the year. I will let the other three ladies ahead of me share their exciting news themselves before I do.
Convention next year is in Sydney. I have more news which I will save for later as I am so tired I am almost asleep and keep typing multiply times before i spell it right .
I will update again before Thursday so keep checking back.

Today's the day!
I am just waiting for my mummy to Pick me up in a few minutes so I thought I'd say goodbye to you all .
Malcolm and I are off to Aussie.I am attending a convention for Stampin' Up! on Friday and Saturday in Canberra. So Malcolm though he'd come to.
We are going to stay for a few days with his brother and then we are off to the gold coast. Note for those who know the Finers Craig is Mal's brother by choice not biological.This is Mal's first overseas holiday so its going to be really exciting.
I have set my blog to blog all by it's self so keep looking here I have so neat stuff to show you.

Thank Goodness for my little Malcy!!

For those of you that Know My husband his mummy and sisters call him Little Malcy cos he's Big ... When I met him he called himself Mal OK that's fine I will call you that if that's what you want . My dad had other ideas ..."His name is Malcolm you should call him that !!!" Sorry Dad that's the kettle calling the pot BLACK ,you call my cousin who is a girl with a very girly name Jack so whats the diff! Anyway after about a month of seeing Mal his mum and sister's keep referring to him as little Malcy so Codi called him Daddy Malcy and I just call him Malcy except when he's in trouble then its MALCOLM!
Anyway If your on my emailing list you should have had a email this afternoon saying my computer was being Naughty and malcy had to fix it .Thank goodness he could we have enough broken things around here( dishwasher died And our main t.v died and I got a ticket for no rego ) Here is my little Malcy when he was skinny and I was even skinner aren't we pretty . I can't believe we have been Married for six years already. I whipped these up this arvo using one of our new scrapbooking kits called sweet nothings

I am not usually good at simple but I love this page and guess what its not even cased!!!! gotta be a first!

Anyway friday the 16th ( tomorrow ) at seven pm we will be scrapbooking at my place .I will have heaps of single sheets of dsp on my sale table left over from last catty if you want a page or two pop on over.

Eloise has a Birthday Party two go to on Saturday for her little friends Tyla and Olivia so on Monday I decided to make a couple of mini albums .... well that was a great Idea I wish i had allowed myself some more time to do it though!!!!!!!! Never mind I have Scrapbook class here tomorrow so in between running around after my ladies I will finish them .
I will take more photos tomorrow after i complete the last few pages and post them on the weekend.

My wee poppet got her Glasses Yesterday we got 2 pairs shipped from Ausspecs just as well because she already has destroyed one pair !! She took them off and stood on them bent the frame and stripped the thread on the thingy that holds the len's in Little rat!

We are getting a lot of looks over the top of her glasses it really is funny she looks like a little old lady peering over the top.

Hopefully she will adjust to them by the time she starts school in July.

Note for Miss luann from Eloise "I am going to mont vill age school in uly" translate that to Eloise is going to Egmont Village Primary school in July.

Kaponga Gala

Kaponga Primary School are having a Gala day next Saturday at 10 am (14Th March) I have been invited to go along so Judy and I will be there selling some of our cards we have made and I will be having a mini class room as well .So if your near there come and make a card $3 each of which a percentage will be going to the school.Its sounds like there is going to be a huge variety of stalls and things to do ,So come and have a fun day and raise some money for Kaponga Primary School.

My friend Diane is hosting a workshop on Saturday and she mentioned a baby card could be good SO here's what we are making (there will be boy colours available too).We are also making an Easter card . Scrapbook Class meets my watermark

This is the very first time I have been able to work out how to make the watermark .My wonderful friend Trudi made it for me. Then another wonderful friend Michelle taught me how to use it. Simple when you know how and after fiddling with it for four hours last week and not making it happen ,tonight it took one go and total of 60 seconds .

This is half a layout ( I always do double layouts) for Thursday nights Scrapbook Class 26th of Feb 7pm at My place .I have already scrapbooked seven double layouts this month so if you havn't been for a while there is plenty to inspire you .These classes are the best thing that could have happened to me I actually have to scrap and I LOVE IT!!

I have been looking at the new American catty online this card was inspired by a sample in it . I was quite pleased with the result . I find simple cards extremely hard. I think this card would make a great gift if you made half a dozen cards with different phrases ( short and sweet su set makes this super easy) plus envies and even a few postage stamps or nice pen .Mothers day is just a few months away note to self make my wonderful mother in law some she would really appreciate that more than an expensive gift.

My team of Downline and I meet once a month for chat , tips and tecniques and make n takes . This time Judy was in charge , She really enjoys Michelle Zindorf style .So we all had a go .It is not my natural style however I really like the outcome so much so I made judy come back again and help me make a really cool one to send to my friends in the states for christmas ( i will put it here after i have posted them so as not to spoil the surprise) .

Hi Ladies , I had a Awesome afternoon yesterday ( and evening) I scrapbooked!! I managed to complete SIX yes 6 12 by 12 pages .I was so pleased and thought I had taken nice photo's to post on my blog for you to see but some how the power chuck episode has made it impossible to get the pic from the camera to the computer I guess I will have to ring the insurance company AGAIN!!
Anyway I thought I would remind you of my class tomorrow ( Friday) This class is free it is an introductory class for my Scrapbook classes I am now running. I totally changed my mind on how I am going to run it so if you are keen to learn more give me a call ,as scrapbooking is my passion I am looking forward to sharing what I know with you all.
Also tomorrow is the last day for the October specials .

Rough Week!

Good Morning Ladies ,
Sorry I have been Missing in Action for so long .
I have had a rough week First my Poppa Died ( He was 89) and then My Father In Law Had another Heart attack and then I got sick!
However I am feeling so much better now .
Just a quick reminder that tomorrow ( Sunday) is three dollar day there will a few Christmas cards as well as other occasions. 1pm till 9pm open house hours come when it suits you . $3 per card or NEW special 6 for $15 .
I have loads of photos to post however my we poppet power chucked all over my camera on my way to be with my mum the day poppa passed .My Darling dad helped me clean her and the car and the clothes ,but the camera well that was another story. As soon as we can get that sorted I promised to post loads of pics.
I recently demoed at a training for us Stampin' Up! demonstrators and Emma ( the Country Manager) Gave me a very simple but lovely card. That card prove to be an expensive gift ...... I caved and bought the set it was made with .It is the punch in the tin with three spots and a 9 piece stamp set .I love it I can't believe I didn't buy it earlier. Hi there , I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful sunshine !
I Had a great time on Saturday seeing some of my customers/friends that I haven't seen for ages at our world card making event .
We raised $100 for StarShip !!!
We also ate waayy to much cake!!

I have a class you won't want to miss on Thursday the 16Th 7pm and again on the the Saturday at 1pm .
We will make a tag punch star card which I demoed at the demonstrator training the other week
( teaching demos is scary stuff!!!)
I left the sample card behind with Emma and forgot to take a picture so in the meantime this link is the gallery at splitcoast using that technique.

Disaster Strikes!!

Oh boy I have had a really heart breaking time!
My Stamp house Flooded in was at least an inch deep in WATER!
( paper and water don't mix) .
My Father in law and my husband did their best to help but I still lost a ton of stuff and alot of the paint peeled off the floor .
There was a lot of little damage but nothing I couldn't live with Except I lost all of my 12 by 12 designer paper, my simply scappin kits and my 12 by 12 cardstock plus a couple of finished pages including my favourite photo of Loggie bear.
I was so upset ( still am ) The worst part being the kits and the dsp were mostly retired stuff which i can't replace.
SO in the mean time I have not felt like even going into my stamp house let alone stampin or talking to my customers ( sorry ) I just was to sad.
However life moves on and if I want to get on stage again next year I have to pick myself up and get on with it .
so the 14th and the 20th are my class date $12 bring a matte finishblack and white photo also a clean label free spagetti can!
$3 Day is sunday the 25th 1pm till 9pm ( tv goes on at 8.30 for Greys anatamy)

Hey Elaine This is for you . I forgot how to post AGAIN!!! Thanks to Trudi I am up and running again. So over the next few days or weeks I will post some of the swaps I got from some amazing people .I meet two of my blog idols Marelle Taylor and Alisa Turner .Sorry if the spelling is wrong. I had to get there photos to prove I had meet them . I also saw but wasn,t lucky enough to meet Jayne Mercer. Such talented ladies! I meet some awesome women and a gentleman Martin Munroe ( awesome dude) .Martin sold 40K this past year, I Take my hat off to him! These people had two things in common .1 they were so friendly 2 they were so humble .O yeah they all love stampin' up!.
We heard some awesome speakers and came home all inspired.I am going to conference next year and plan on taking as many as my downline as possible ( Judy this means you!!!!!!!!).

OK I confess I forgot how to blog ! WOOPS!!! I seem to have had a few blonde/senior moments lately and I am not blonde or senior ... O dear me what happens when I do get old!!
I had a Busy weekend .
My downline Marjorie ( Hi) came to stay the wekend it seemed so short next time she will have to stay longer!! On saturday we had training with our NZ country manager Emma .Emma is wonderful and I always enjoy seeing her. We learned alot and shared alot ( I was the bossy loud one ) And we met new friends ( Angie you must come to stay) and we swapped cards I got fourteen wonderful cards which you can see at www.nzsublog.blogspot.com Thanks Trudi for posting them .Mine is the pretty flower made from double sided paper ( su of course) .It is circles folded, its called dahila fold (my favourite flower except daffodils and jonquils. )We are making them at my march classes phone or email me to book. 06 7584154 mandmfiner@clear.co.nz
Any way I am so good at rambling Marjorie and my family then went to my friend Kellys for tea ( thanks love it was yummy!!)
Sunday was my In-laws 40th wedding anniversary so we went to my sister in laws for lunch ,where I got to play babies with Mitchell And my husband pigged out on scallops and king prawns.
We then had a birthday party for my big girl she turned ELEVEN yes ELEVEN on sunday.
Codi had some of her friends over for blowfish for tea .The blow fish is a chinese takeaway here in New Plymouth .It is the best!!!!!!.
Today Iam tired .Here is a pic of one of the cards we did at last months class .It is a crayon resist with mixed bouquet stamp set .

Norfolk Road as a child .Inglewood for ten years .New Plymouth for all my adult life.

Dogsbody at a garden centre for 4 years then at a property maintance place untill i got pregnant with Codi.A barnados caregiver. Now I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator this is by far the best job I have ever even dreamed about.

5 things people don't know about me:

I hate public speaking Then i go get a job where that's all you do go figure!
I am a hopeless wife my house looks like a bomb hit it always except if we have visitor coming (then don't look in the spare room)
I suffer from extream Morning sickness when i am pregnant ( which i am not yet) I spend more time in Hospital than out .
I hate the beach and its my husbands favourite place.
I am frighten of men doctors and avoid then like the plague with the exception of my docotrs husband Lester he's lovely and i will see him if Amanda is busy.

This pic is a terrible pic and I tried to fix it but failed I really am only learning this blog thing If you coulod see it like i can its the Faux Linen card i cased it from spiltcoast but changed colours and the flower stamp in real life its lovely .

Finally Bubby has a name Well half of one at least he is still waiting for his middle name .Mitchel I am not sure if this is how you spell it .Mitchel is just beautiful I got to change his smelly pants twice on saturday quite an event for Aunty Me who has two girls!!!I won't post a pic of his face as i haven't got permission yet.Trust me he is lovely.

He's lovely !! 9lb 4 ( i think) He's my new nephew .He was about 18 hours old in this photo .I had to teach him what being my nephew means ( loads of kisses) .He is called you know who at the moment ,hopefully his Mummy and Daddy will give him a name soon ,us Aunty's NEED to know .

Ok i am not enjoing this because of the letters had it been "state seven facts " I could have coped better.

J Jump rope for heart was all the rage when i was at school.It is one of the few forms of exercise i don't dispise.

A Ants i get ants in my pants if i try to watch a movie with the kids i end up toddling of to do a little chore or two and miss the whole point of the movie.

N Nana is one of the people responsible for my craft habbit along with my mum and aunty's.

E Excited is my permant state at the moment I have never been out of the north island and i am noe going to Brisbane .TOO EXCITED for words.
