Disaster Strikes!!

Oh boy I have had a really heart breaking time!
My Stamp house Flooded in was at least an inch deep in WATER!
( paper and water don't mix) .
My Father in law and my husband did their best to help but I still lost a ton of stuff and alot of the paint peeled off the floor .
There was a lot of little damage but nothing I couldn't live with Except I lost all of my 12 by 12 designer paper, my simply scappin kits and my 12 by 12 cardstock plus a couple of finished pages including my favourite photo of Loggie bear.
I was so upset ( still am ) The worst part being the kits and the dsp were mostly retired stuff which i can't replace.
SO in the mean time I have not felt like even going into my stamp house let alone stampin or talking to my customers ( sorry ) I just was to sad.
However life moves on and if I want to get on stage again next year I have to pick myself up and get on with it .
so the 14th and the 20th are my class date $12 bring a matte finishblack and white photo also a clean label free spagetti can!
$3 Day is sunday the 25th 1pm till 9pm ( tv goes on at 8.30 for Greys anatamy)
I have a bunch of new sets so this will be a great time to come as all the cards are fresh and exciting email me for details mandmfiner@clear.net.nz

My Favourite Cards from convention

This card is one of the swaps I recieved from convention .I am sorry I can't remember who's it was. It truely is my favourite card.I am so inspired I am going to buy the stamp set!!!!! Edited to add Alison McKee made this card I wish i know if she has a blog or not If you know her ( or are her) please let me know! The colours are Bashful blue so saffron regal rose and creamy caramel
The stamp set is be happy which I have ordered should be here next week!!!!

Convention 2008

Hey Elaine This is for you . I forgot how to post AGAIN!!! Thanks to Trudi I am up and running again. So over the next few days or weeks I will post some of the swaps I got from some amazing people .I meet two of my blog idols Marelle Taylor and Alisa Turner .Sorry if the spelling is wrong. I had to get there photos to prove I had meet them . I also saw but wasn,t lucky enough to meet Jayne Mercer. Such talented ladies! I meet some awesome women and a gentleman Martin Munroe ( awesome dude) .Martin sold 40K this past year, I Take my hat off to him! These people had two things in common .1 they were so friendly 2 they were so humble .O yeah they all love stampin' up!.
We heard some awesome speakers and came home all inspired.I am going to conference next year and plan on taking as many as my downline as possible ( Judy this means you!!!!!!!!).
So anyway I ramble on I will start posting photos tomorrow.

OK I confess I forgot how to blog ! WOOPS!!! I seem to have had a few blonde/senior moments lately and I am not blonde or senior ... O dear me what happens when I do get old!!
I had a Busy weekend .
My downline Marjorie ( Hi) came to stay the wekend it seemed so short next time she will have to stay longer!! On saturday we had training with our NZ country manager Emma .Emma is wonderful and I always enjoy seeing her. We learned alot and shared alot ( I was the bossy loud one ) And we met new friends ( Angie you must come to stay) and we swapped cards I got fourteen wonderful cards which you can see at www.nzsublog.blogspot.com Thanks Trudi for posting them .Mine is the pretty flower made from double sided paper ( su of course) .It is circles folded, its called dahila fold (my favourite flower except daffodils and jonquils. )We are making them at my march classes phone or email me to book. 06 7584154 mandmfiner@clear.co.nz
Any way I am so good at rambling Marjorie and my family then went to my friend Kellys for tea ( thanks love it was yummy!!)
Sunday was my In-laws 40th wedding anniversary so we went to my sister in laws for lunch ,where I got to play babies with Mitchell And my husband pigged out on scallops and king prawns.
We then had a birthday party for my big girl she turned ELEVEN yes ELEVEN on sunday.
Codi had some of her friends over for blowfish for tea .The blow fish is a chinese takeaway here in New Plymouth .It is the best!!!!!!.
Today Iam tired .Here is a pic of one of the cards we did at last months class .It is a crayon resist with mixed bouquet stamp set .
